Hidden Scripture Revelation

Imagine if all of us thought like the centurion

Matthew 8:5  And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

What if...?

What if when Jesus said in Matthew 5:48, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect," it was the same as when God said, "Let there be light."

When God said let there be light there was light. apply the same concept to when Jesus said Be ye therefore perfect....

Most of us know that Jesus is the Word…John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." And by him all things were created right?

Colossians 1:13.-17  " Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:  Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist."
John 1:14  "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

Let me make sure you understand what I'm saying........."Be ye perfect......" Let me ask you this - What happened when God (Jesus) said "let there be light?"

Remembering that John chapter one says it was Jesus, who is the word, who created all things.

John 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 6:63  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

So when Jesus said "be ye perfect," was he asking you to do the impossible or was he declaring it into existence just like when he said, "let there be light" in the beginning? Was he creating something again?

Matthew 13:13  Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
